Hello, My Name is Jason McKenzie, and I love to build things.  I am a graduate of the North Bennet Street School in Boston, MA, where I studied (and later taught) Carpentry. I live in Eastern Massachusetts, and I own McKenzie & Daughter, a full service design+build boutique shop. I am excited about new and old techniques alike, and I take an academic approach to woodworking. I geek out on everything from the biology of wood to ancient French Timber Framing techniques, to German Tools, to the latest developments in Green Building Science. I have an extensive network of subcontractors I work with and have come to trust over the years, We service both Residential and Commercial clientele in the Greater Boston area. I am a Registered Home Improvement Contractor and hold an Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License in Massachusetts. McKenzie & Daughter is Fully Insured.
